Amenizer 03 review
The third instalment of our Amenizer series continues in the same vein as the previous two, with a generous serving of every junglist’s favourite breakbeat, on a no frills white label vinyl, with an undercover artist providing the ammunition.
Jedi Hi-Fi is an alias of one of our core Foundation X family members, and if you listen keenly it shouldn’t be too hard to work out who is responsible for these four cuts, with a trademark jungle sound which is heavily influenced by 80's Jamaican dancehall sound systems and 70's dub production.....
REGGAE REGGAE SAUCE – As the vocal says “Serious Damage” and that’s what this track will do no questions asked.....
SOUND CHECK 1 – Dubwise from start to finish, the signature sounds ofJedi Hi-Fi are evident throughout from the top to the very last drop.
SOUND CHECK 2 – Jazzy intro vibes soon give way to a head nod amen patternand Creation Discoteq vocal samples bounce in between the beats and bass.
PROBLEMS – The final track of the EP sees some expert echo chamber work.
