Local Action is proud to present the debut EP by Finn.

A resident at Manchester’s Chowdown clubnight, Finn divides his time between England and San Francisco. His music blends the best of the US and UK, taking Timbaland-indebted drums and chopped hip-hop / r’n’b vocals, but putting them in a 140bpm grime / r’n’g context. Like the best grime, footwork and jungle, he’s not afraid to sample from anywhere, and keeps his chops rough and rude.

‘Keep Calling’, this EP’s title track, is one of the key anthems at leading grime clubnight Boxed (Finn contributed to their Boxed Vol. 1 compilation), and comes backed with the high octane ‘Dangerous’ and the gorgeous ‘Only Boy’. Like Blackjack, Low Deep and Iron Soul before him, Finn is combining r’n’b and grime without ever resorting to cliché, and the results are killer.

Vinyl only, 180 grm 12” in plastic sleeve.
