Having just caught our breath after their previous bass bomb Over/Shadow give us some mindful reprieve with latest drop from the don, Nookie. With a noted career and output on such all time greats as Reinforced Records, Good Looking Records, his own Phuzion Records, and of course the era defining sounds that 2 Bad Mice curated in the 90s. Gavin Cheung teams up with Ruth Royall to deliver the utterly blisfull Love Less Chaos and then takes centre stage with Got Soul. Trademark snappy breaks, lush pads and Nookies signature injection of funk and atmosphere add to another chapter in his long and illustrious history within the scene....
